appeal to the national rhyme association

All the echinoderms worming in this world

Lie in wait to ambush and convert the Sabine girls

Who pray to the trees and suck on sweet red pearls

Plucked from the shrubs that grow in the over-water world.

Rhyming girl and world and pearl had ought to be illegal,

Said the sandwich in the ziplock as it made out with the seagull.

Unfortunately, legislating rhyme rules would be feeble

Instead, we should crown innovators who find rhymes like kugel

In frugal, and let them bamboozle the public-radio people.
