La lune pèse sur mon dos comme un pot de moutarde

Qui chante toutes mes déceptions

comme si la douche

n’avait pas les oreilles boutonnées

À notre heure, la boutique des espoirs est

close.

This evening the world came home too late.

The girls make crazy like a cockroach party.

The moon weighs on my back like a jar of mustard

Singing all my disappointments

like as if the shower didn’t

have its ears tightly buttoned

At our hour, the hope store is

closed.
